The impossible staircase inspires the theme for this collection and film, otherwise known as the Penrose Stairs: an impossible object created by Lionel Penrose, used in M.C. Escher’s Ascending and Descending. The idea of fashion as an infinity, reflects the continuous seasons, and re-cycling of inspiration. Using vintage patterns, and a romantic colour scheme to show the illusion of fashion as a fantasy of reality.
