Label Clothing is a sustainable ready-to-wear fashion brand based in Toronto, Ontario. Run by fashion designers Natalie Sydoruk and Shawna Robinson, Label showed several seasons at Toronto Fashion Week and were featured on publications including Breakfast Television, Flare, and Fashion magazine. They describe the company as an ”idea was born out of their mutual desire for quality clothing that fit their unique lifestyles, both desired clothing that was intelligently designed with comfort, sustainability, and wearability in mind.”

Both Natalie and Shawna were looking for a fashion rebrand to update an existing fashion brand, they were updating to pivot their marketing efforts and aim for greater longevity. To do that the new custom logo design had to cater to a mid twenties late thirties young fashionable crowd that interested in luxury and locally produced products. The line is focused on basics and building blocks for each seasons wardrobe. Alike to the company the design fulfils the basics in a utilitarian and fashionable way. The materials required included custom labels, packaging hangtags, custom designed business cards, and stickers. The custom logo design was also used on their website, during runway shows, and on social media. What resulted is a contemporary custom logo design that can be used to accompany collections and trends for many seasons.

Label closed in 2013. Additional work for the company included line sheets, press releases, order forms, and look book design. Twice yearly, Label, produces a clothing that is sold in stores across Canada amongst other Canadian fashion brands. In order to sell the pieces we compiled the looks via email .pdf that stores would order from. Each booklet required a cover page and typographic treatments.
